Frank Gore

by Portland 8/20/2007

Frank Gore is the number four pick of the Draft.

2006 Stats: 2180 total yards and 9 TDs.

Ok...he lost Norv Turner and broke his hand a couple of weeks ago.  Ladianain lost Turner and he turned out ok.  The broken hand shouldn't affect him.  He has plenty of time to recovery...plus he has already begun to practice.

San Fransisco added Darrell Jackson and I'm not even gonna mention the other wide receiver (Ashley Lelie).  They have a Genetic Freak named Vernon Davis that can block, run and catch like Shannon Sharpe.

Gore will play the Rams, the Cardinals and the Seahawks twice.

Alexander, Addai, Parker, Westbrook will be available at four.  These guys are great players but I can't see any of them getting 2000 total yards and 12 TDs.  Alexander and Westbrook are an injury away from finishing great careers.  Addai is good but I don't see him getting HUGE stats...Edge never did.  Parker is the only one I see with potential to out-score Gore.  Parker and Gore have proved they can carry a team a full season and either one of them could take your team to the Fantasy Bowl.

I have my first draft tomorrow.  I traded my number seven pick, straight up, for pick four.  I am excited to have guys like Gore and Parker to select from.  After some thought tonight and extensive research, I will be ready and happy to make my selection.  I wish I could say the same thing about my Full Tilt account because resorting to 5$ sit-n-go's is not my idea of high stacks gambling.
