Draft Number 2 of 2007
by Portland 8/27/2007
Draft Number 2 is very simialar to my first draft this year. I pulled the Number 4 selection from the pool of cards and I felt it was destiny to Draft Reggie Bush one more time. This is a PPR league giving Reggie Bush great value. In Order...here is the rest of my draft:
WR Terrell Owens, DAL
QB Drew Brees, NO
RB Clinton Portis, WAS
RB Adrian Peterson, MIN
Def Bears, Team Defense, CHI
WR Calvin Johnson, DET
WR Donte Stallworth, NE
WR Bernard Berrian, CHI
RB Julius Jones, DAL
RB LaMont Jordan, OAK
WR Devin Hester, CHI
PK Olindo Mare, NO
QB JaMarcus Russell, OAK
In round round three I was Happy to draft Drew Brees. Drafting Reggie and Brees is risky but their offense is sick.
Willis McGahee was pick 7 in Round 3. Rudi Johnson was selected 8th in Round 2. Travis Henry was drafted 10th in the first round. I can't believe Travis Henry was drafted before either one of those guys.
Berrian is number one in Chicago. Jordan will start the entire year...even when Rhodes comes back from his 4 game suspension. Stallworth will be a great start if I can pick the games he will blow up. Hester could get 8+ TDs this year. Julius and the Cowboys will be in the top 5 in NFL scoring. Peterson will run behind a one of the best run offensive lines in the league...not to mention he can break your ankles with one move. Mare will be kicking in a dome with a top 5 offense. Calvin will be on the field more than Roy. The Bears will dominate the NFC North. Portis is a 15+ TD back when he is healthy. AND T.O. WILL SHINE IN DALLAS!
