Come Back Stories

Injuries can crumble your fantasy team fast!  Last year Alexander, McNabb, Portis and Lamont Jordan befriended many fantasy owners who drafted them with one of their first 4 picks. 

Portis plays a couple of games after missing some time then goes down again for the rest of the year.  McNabb has his typical Hot start and somehow tears two knew ligaments while trying to get out of bounce.  Alexander breaks his foot in 2005 and somehow never heals in time for a healthy 2006 season.  Lamont Jordan was a stud in 2005 and followed it up with a big goose egg in 2006. 

Portis will be this years Come Back Story.  He is young and a dominate runner when Healthy.

McNabb and Alexander will be back this year but not dominate.  It's the timing of their injuries that concern me.  Both are around 30 years old and have played like warriors.  Nobody is Superman and even the bodies of the best wear down.  Lamont Jordan may have a so-so year but no where near the year of 2005.  Why...well the Raiders stink.
